The VCU School of Education's Center for School Improvement works with school, district, state, and national leaders to build organizational instructional capacity to increase student achievement and school accountability based on rigorous research and best practices.
The mission of the Department of Educational Leadership in the VCU School of Education is to “prepare critically reflective educators who are instructional leaders; to create and share knowledge that leads to improved practice and policy; and to connect with the field to support and nourish social justice, learning, and accountability.”
