An article titled “More Funding for Principal Training Deemed Vital” on the Education Week Web site mentions Project ALL (Authentic Learning for Leaders) as an example of how school divisions and local universities are “teaming up to improve principal preparation.”
In Richmond, Va., the school district has joined forces with Virginia Commonwealth University and the University of Richmond to create Project ALL, or Authentic Learning for Leaders, a program that trains teacher-leaders who want to become principals.
With a U.S. Department of Education grant to Virginia Commonwealth University, EduLead supports the efforts of Virginia Commonwealth University and the University of Richmond in the Project All partnership with Richmond Public Schools. Project ALL is a program that trains teacher-leaders who want to become assistant principals and principals in Richmond City secondary schools.
